This is an interactive presentation I created for my students. This presentation allows the viewer to click on any organism that is a part of this ocean food web. When the viewer clicks on an organism it tells them whether it is a tertiary consumer, secondary consumer, primary consumer, producer, etc.

This video is a presentation I created explaining how biotic and abiotic components interact with each other.
OVERVIEW:
This presentation was created through a group effort in order to understand human developmental processes. In this activity we researched how facing hunger and homeless can affect a students motivation in school. The presentation goes over the consequences of homelessness and what the best practices are for teachers when they have hungry or homeless students. This presentation was created using an online tool called google slides.
Entry 2:
I believe that one of my strengths is my vision. I know exactly what I believe in when it comes to learning and teaching practices. I know exactly what I want my classroom to look like and what classroom management plan I want to set in place. I want my class to be one my students look forward to coming to. Something that I think I can work on is leaving everything on the table during the interview. During interviews, I sometimes find myself saying, “Oh, I wish I would’ve asked this!” or “I should have mentioned this”.
Entry 1:
Teaching is just as fulfilling as I thought it would be. I love coming into the classroom and seeing a kid’s eyes light up once they finally understand something. Honestly, I think it’s my favorite part. One aspect about teaching that was unexpected for me was how often I find myself repeating the same things over and over again. I would say that is the unglamorous part about teaching because you find yourself saying the same directions about five times within the span of three minutes. However, at the end of the day, I know that I am helping these students understand a little bit more about the world around them, and that makes me happy.
